Over the years, Hattan has been an advisor for several Ministers, Governors, and large company CEOs, and is considered a subject matter expert in the areas of Strategy, Research, Marketing, and Government Policy.

Hattan's academic accomplishments include 2 years as a part-time faculty member in King Abdulaziz University, teaching business Bachelor Diploma students. Najib is a qualified professional with around 21 years of mixed experience in the fields of Strategy, Marketing, and Business Development. Prior to joining Strategic Gears, he was SVP in Elixir Management Consultancy. He was also a member of the team that designed and established the National Transformation Program as well as the Delivery Unit (DARIP). He served multiple clients and delivered several key projects, including the private sector stimulus, and a formulation of growth strategy for a major healthcare provider.

He had held high positions in multiple local and international blue-chip companies such as P&G, Amazon, Savola, IMC, and Elixir/McKinsey. He has delivered financial results through the design and execution of marketing, branding, communication, sales, and product development strategies.

Najib holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Al Ahliyya Amman University, and a Master’s degree in Telecommunication Informatics from the University of Sheffield.

NASSER AlQAHTANI

Nasser held several positions at the national level with a number of government entities, the most recent of which was as an Advisor to His Excellency the Minister of Commerce. Nasser also held the position of Director-General of the General Department of Governance at the Ministry of Commerce. During his tenure at the Ministry of Commerce, he also served as a member of several committees related to foreign trade and crisis management. Nasser supervised the strategy in the National Program for Combating the Commercial Concealment.

Nasser has extensive experience in the development of systems, business and strategies. He has contributed to a number of national development projects during the past period. Nasser is currently a member of the advisory board of several private sector companies. At the beginning of his career, Nasser worked with P&G and contributed to several projects involving raising the efficiency of operations.

He served as Commercial Director & Business/Brand Consultant at Infoarc, where he acted as a business and brand strategy consultant to various FMCGs, consumer durables and upcoming unicorns, developed processes to enhance efficiency and capacity for FMCGs, and oversaw brand architecture development and implementation as well as marketing research. Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), KSA: Led the development of the ecosystem governance of the strategy function in the ministry in addition to designing the operating model of the strategy department.

Ministry of National Guard Development Program (MNGDP), KSA: Supporting the Director of Strategy in leading the implementation of the strategy and operating model of the Ministry of National Guard in addition supporting the design of the capabilities and training development plans. This included working directly with 13 team members from MNGDP in order to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of formulating the overall charter of the program.

Confidential Government Client, Jordan: Supported the Jordanian government in establishing a nation-wide ecosystem governance and a risk management framework/tool in order to respond to COVID-19.

Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), KSA: Co-led the development of the HR Strategy for the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) in Saudi Arabia. The project included situational assessment, SWOT analysis, strategy formulation, in addition to an implementation plan.

King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE), KSA: Led several strategy related assignments in King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE), in addition to leading the development of the Motivation and Incentives System. This included, but not limited to, designing and developing the strategic planning framework; and designing the motivation and incentives system including monetary and non-monetary incentives with abidance to the bylaws of the organization and consideration of governmental regulations.

Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE), UAE: Co-led the development of the business requirements of a solution for the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) in UAE in order to develop an RFP. The project included understanding and the business architecture, requirements and processes, in addition to conducting interviews with the client.

Institute of Public Administration (IPA), Jordan: Led the development of +120 processes for the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) in Jordan, in addition to detailed procedures for the core training services, the pricing model, registration system automation requirements, as well as the New Employee Induction Program content. The project was delivered in collaboration with Deloitte US and the USAID.

Al-Daham for Watches, KSA: Developing and Implementing the Strategy, Organizational Structure and Corporate Governance. Led the development of the business strategy, organizational structure and corporate governance for Al-Daham for Watches in Saudi Arabia. The project included 2-year implementation in addition to designing the HR strategy for the firm.

Confidential Mining Client, Jordan: Co-led the development of the corporate strategy for a mining company in Jordan, which included extensive external analysis and a solid understanding of the status quo. The project included conducting SWOT analysis, designing the strategic direction, in addition to developing the implementation plan.

King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC), Jordan: Co-led the development of the business requirements for Procurement, Inventory Management and Support Services for an ERP Selection project, which included running workshops and interviews for collection and validation, in addition to developing business processes for the mentioned functions and submitting a gap analysis report.

Alessa Industrial, KSA: Led the design of the Long-Term Incentive Plans (LTIPs) in collaboration with Board of Directors, which included benchmarking, defining alternatives, in addition to alternatives evaluation and selection.

Al Baik, KSA: Co-led the design of the organisational structure of the firm and the formulation of the functional statements. This also included designing the behavioral and technical competences for the firm.

ARASCo, KSA: Co-led the design of the HR operating model of the firm considering centralization, decentralization and the specificity of shared services.
